Welcome to the Little Maestro drawing Program for Children.
Children see the world differently from us. While as adults, our world has been defined and objectified completely, the child is still learning about the world and what defines it. This is the very same way artists see the world – stripped of it's symbolism and semantics, and as it were. Your child is already a genius. You just have to keep it that way.
See the tree? That's a tree right? Nope, not really. What it is, is indefinable. Our perceptual system helps us make sense of the world by chunking all that immensity into an easy to use word. A tree! The awe and wonder that we see before us is immediately replaced by a perceptual symbol of a tree. It's semantic definition, so to speak, and we never really see trees again. Just symbols of what we know is out there.
Where adults see trees, a child sees something immense, mysterious and altogether magical. It is a hideaway, a castle or at the very least - hides an awesome mystery. They really know how to see. To be a child is a moment of tremendous significance.
Penciljam works with these implicit geniuses to turn them into Little Maestros. Masters who are able to articulate what they see. Our program teaches children to define the object of their focus in different ways. Each module builds on the other, all through which your child learns important tactile and motor skills, observation skills and visual articulation.

Module 2 : Clour me Plenty ( Coloring & Painting Classes )
Module 3 : Fun with Optical Illusion ( Creating Illusions )
Module 4 : Putty Putty Bang Bang ( Fun with Plasticine and Clay )
Module 5 : My Family & me ( Your family as superheros )
Module 6 : My Scrapbook ( Collage with all the work done so far )
We have 2 batches this time. One Batch has classes on Friday evenings and the other on Saturday Mornings.
