About the Little Maestro Program

When our parent firm recently worked with a school to restructure their textbooks and syllabi, we noticed that art education in schools hadn't improved much since our own school days. During this engagement we noticed that the art training in schools followed an archaic victorian model. The teacher basically drew a 'subject' on the board and then went around ensuring that everyone either has a 'lion', 'scenery' or some such theme in their drawing books. Even the more upmarket institutions teach pretty much the same thing.

We reasoned that every class in every school probably has a maestro. An above average student who is naturally gifted with heightened visual thinking skills and who typically has an edge over the others in activities such as art, music or simply being very creative. The idea is to find such children and train them using the Pencil Jam system, which we believe will give them a significant edge when they mature enough to begin taking career decisions. Little Maestro programs are sponsored by Corporate Brands to ensure that the children themselves are not overly burdened by costs while the Brands gain valuable visibility during art tours, promotions and contests.

The program is being modelled, we will be ready with this in a few months to launch.Although, We have started looking for corporate sponsorships.

We reasoned that every class in every school probably has a maestro. An above average student who is naturally gifted with heightened visual thinking skills and who typically has an edge over the others in activities such as art, music or simply being very creative. It's a shame that these children are forced to endure the current art class.
