Storytelling with Clay

" Welcome to a unique storytelling workshop specially designed to help you develop a storybook from start to finish."

Claymagination is a 2 day workshop that takes you through

Story development,
Breakdown,
Character design and
Illustration development,
Set Development and framing

Resulting in a series of beautiful children's book. Lets learn to narrate our own stories through clay and read them to ourselves or our children!

If you've ever wanted to design your own storybooks for yourself or for your children this is it. The  instructors will guide you from concept, right down to storybook production! The modules are designed to help you progress incrementally and clearly showcase each step in storybook development.

We are also using clay as the primary illustration medium here, allowing for three dimensionality, which later allows for multiple camera views for each scene in the book.

The most useful facet of the workshop however is that it is especially designed for people interested in developing visuals for children. In fact, if you have a little one you'd like to bring along, go right ahead. You can create the storybook together. Once you learn how, we'd love to see you amass your own library of books!

Trinajit K
Trinajit is a master sculptor with a background in Fine Art. He's equally at home reproducing renaissance sculpture as he is at developing contemporary three dimensional art. For someone with the mind of a product designer, the heart of a sculptor and the stomach apparently made of the same thing they make industrial crushers with, he comes across as normal. Off duty, he cooks corrosive pickle, plays counter-strike and makes some damn good leather bound books.
